| To input on the person speaking of Catherine Howard so harshly, the girl was still a child. How many children make brilliant decisions and fully understand the consequences of their actions? And, as far as my understanding goes, she wasn't raised in the best of ways, which accounts for her 'virtues' being less than what was expected of a lady (much less a queen) in that age. | ||

By the standards of the time, she was a grown woman—-compare Lady Jane Grey’s behavior at age 15. By the standards of ANY time, her behavior was inexcusable for a queen. There is no way she did not know this.
